Venue Notes
Welcome to Elevate Acro Gymnastics Club. We’re delighted you’ve joined our club and we’ve created this info sheet to help you and your gymnast settle into our classes. Please read the informati …moreon below carefully.
What to wear:
In all classes, participants should have long hair tied up securely, bare feet and fitted clothing to allow the coaches to support safely. Jewellery, including earrings, must be removed, or taped up with micropore if recently pierced, prior to arrival at class to ensure that the Scottish Gymnastics insurance cover is in place.
Trips to the toilet – please ensure your gymnasts has been to the loo before class, as in some venues the coach will need to stop the class and accompany children to the toilet.
West Calder Hub - Participants should enter via the main entrance, coaches will welcome participants at the door and direct them to the main hall. There is an onsite café and lounge waiting area for parents and carers. Participants will be dismissed by coaches directly to their adult at the main hall door. Please also visit our noticeboard as we’ll regularly update this with club news and it contains a QR code link to send a message to the coaching team if you have any queries.
Booking:
If you have booked a trial class, you will receive a link after the class to sign up to a monthly subscription.
Subscriptions are paid via Class 4 Kids on a monthly basis, these will be collected on the 1st of each month.
If you join part way through the month a one-off covering payment will be added to your account to cover the class costs of that month, this will be collected on the 1st of the following month.
Often, at the start of your journey with the club, we want to ensure you child is in the correct class for their skill and development level. If we think your gymnast is better suited to a different class, we’ll let you know. Our recreational programme with levels 1-4 for primary school aged children is specific to our club, and our programme levels reflect a development approach to increasing skills and confidence.
Scottish Gymnastics Affiliation:
We require all participants (excluding Parent & Toddler and Come & Play) to sign up for Scottish Gymnastics membership by week 3 of classes. You can join here: https://mybg.british-gymnastics.org/
This provides your gymnast/s with insurance cover and also member benefits, and access to learning materials for parents.
If you are already a registered member, please add Elevate Acro Gymnastics as a club in your profile.
Elevate Acro Club Membership:
As with other sports clubs, you will need to become a member of Elevate Acro. This is an annual membership and is £20 per year for junior and adult members. To help stagger the starting costs, this should be paid by week 6 of classes. This payment will be collected as a one-off covering payment via Class for Kids.
As a member of our club, we expect you to adopt our club policies and the codes of conduct.
